Growing up in India, some of my fondest memories are from time spent with my grandpa. I remember when I was about 5 or 6 years old, he took me to VBS where I had an unforgettable breakfast—typical Indian food. That's where I got my first taste of coconut chutney, served with dosas. I didn’t know who made it, but by the time I’d cleaned my plate, I was hooked! From that moment on, chutney became one of my favorite foods.
That's a picture of our house. We had many fruit trees!
As I grew up, my mom and grandma continued the tradition, filling our home with all kinds of flavorful, homemade chutneys. Years later, after I moved to the U.S., I wanted to recreate those flavors from home. Cooking became a passion, and thanks to my sister—an amazing cook herself—I learned the recipes that brought back so many memories. Together, we thought, Why not share these simple, honest, and healthy chutneys with others?
Making chutney is a labor of love, one that takes time. But unlike what you often find on store shelves, it’s free of unnecessary chemicals and isn’t overly processed. I knew I wanted to give my family something better than store-bought dips, and soon I realized others might feel the same way. That’s how our chutney brand was born—a blend of tradition, health, and flavor, made for everyone to enjoy.
